After not a great check in and construction experience, Victoria Garza made our stay amazing. She recognized that we are coming from a different continent, first time in Austin and a that we booked Hotel Van Zandt for the Boutique type experience. We were really ready to go find another Hotel, however Victoria went above and beyond to make our stay special. She was over the top with her friendliness and her customer service, we went from we are never coming here to we will always come here and we will also tell our friends. So THANK YOU VICTORIA, for turning a bad experience into an amazing one.

The hotel and room were very clean. The staff was kind, helpful, and professional. The area was perfect and walking distance to several local eateries and night life establishments in the area. Not too far from the airport, probably a 10 min cab or uber/lyft ride. The restaurant/bar in the hotel was also amazing with live music every night. Definitely a very chill atmosphere. I recommend staying there every time you’re in Austin. And you are next to the “tallest” building in Texas, talk about an easy landmark.

Overall, the property is a beautiful hotel with an amazing staff that are very eager to assist you with any questions you may have and are always willing to lend a hand, if needed. The overall location of the property is towards the end of Austin but sits next to The Rainey Street District which is a plus if you like to party! It is a little bit of a hike to get to the capital and the attractions in that area. The hotel is well maintained and very clean.

Staff was great. Friendly and laid back. Great location. Fun atmosphere. Rooms were nice. Within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and food trucks. We had a really good time and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in the downtown area.
